Jīng Tài Shān Mù - Kyoto

That's a beautiful place! Small restaurant very charming and authentic. The employees are really welcoming and cordial, and they did a lot of effort to speak with me in English. The food is absolutely amazing and affordable. Once inside sit on the counter and enjoy the realization of your meal made before you. Let yourself be guided by the hostess, a charming lady, to great discoveries under her choice.

Favourite place for Izakaya in Kyoto. It's a small place, but don't let that fool you. The place is picturesque, and the food is great. The lady's boss makes it a point to chat with you while the cook cooks fantastic food. There is only one cook, so it can be a little slow, but the whole food I had there was delicious and of great quality. Recommend it to everyone in Kyoto. A little hard to find, but worth the effort!

Great service in this cozy little izakaya. English menu available and some English spoken by the owners to assist. Great selection of sake as well!

This place is awesome. The whole experience was just amazing. We had sake and they showed us in a map the place where the sake came from. The wagyu beef was spectacular. The tuna sashimi delicious. The service marvelous.
