Osake No Bijutsukan Sanjo Karasuma Marumoto

Vintage whisky from ancient times. I tried the 1970/1980 johnny walker black, who were big and they were so cheap. Please do not hesitate to ask for a special whisky or cognac, they will never leave you down. Bar bites is great, but I miss the roasted chicken with Ponzu Mayonnaise when I first visited this place. Unfortunately they have taken it from the menu

Very nice bar. The atmosphere is very nice to enjoy a good whisky. And they have a lot of them. The price also good. They have also really tasty Japanese draft beer.

The retro pub/liquor museum was a chance find but is a time warp type of venue, in the best possible way. Velvet walls, retro styling, amazing drinks selection adorning the walls and available to drink. Reasonable prices for food and beers, speciality whiskey and spirits would be much more and they stock a great selection of old whiskey! Much to endear the place to a weary traveller.

There are so many alcoholic beverages such as whiskey, brandy, craft beer, wine and Japanese sake with reasonable price. You can drink with very cheap price between 2:00-8:00pm as it’s called “happy hour” in which you pay 500yen as the charge and can get half price off on over 100 kinds of alcohol beverages.

Went there for lunch. The place looks fancy but the price is good and with big portion too. Tried their hamburg. It was served with fries, salad, and rice. They add wine to the sauce. You can see lot of bottles on the wall. The concept is alcoholic drink gallery afterall.
