Lovely restaurant. Very busy so have to book a table, service really good and staff very helpful and friendly. We had a meze, but what's really good at Old Simos is that you choose what dishes you have, so you don't get anything that you don't want or like. And you can order as much or as little as you like. Great idea, don't know why every restaurant doesn't do this. My only criticism is that our table was outside and practically on the road, which wasn't too great. Otherwise, would definitely recommend this restaurant. If you want to experience a true, family owned village tavern that’s a point on any bucket list! We decided spontaneously to book a table for dinner with 10 persons and the owner made it happen! Ok, it was pure luck as they are fully booked and you need to pre book it. The food was awesome and very traditional from salad to quails to snails and all the other great Cypriot dishes! The waiter will tell you what they have and you tell them what you would like and the prepare an awesome mize. Unlike all other taverns I experienced so far, they reduce the portions by them self to fit the amount of people in order not to waste food. We finished everything without wasting anything! Super friendly personnel in a very nice and traditional location. Only bad thing I forgot was to take pictures of the gorgeous food. We will come back!
