Les Berges d'Estailleres - La Brévine

In our conception the atmosphere was very unfriendly, it melted from stale cigarettes Stale Cigerette smoke and Stale oil. The staff was not rude, but not far away. Extremely disappointed. But the cook was quite rude and almost said the person who served to tell us to go lost.

Decided to stop at this picturesque place on a tour of Switzerland. We were greeted by the owner, dressed as captain from a musical. French, but also English. Had a really good beer before digging into the most amazing lunch we had for a long time. The owner said he was among other things a cook, the QE II. Trustworthy? The food said so safe.. The lake outside was frozen, but in summer it must be a fantastic place to eat outside. Oh, another thing: a guest played the piano and others danced to music, extraordinary!

The restaurant is special, with a boat in front. The food is fantastic and the presentation alone is exceptional. Go for one of the fish dishes served with a nicolse salad to start. I look forward to my next visit
