Pizzeria de la Garde - La Ciotat

We were working in la ciotat for over a month at the refit of the boat, so we use to lunch at the place I tell them that the place is really good excellent meal very friendly and respectful coworkers I will recommend to everyone. to stop la ciotat by. sure, I will be back for the platte de jour good selection of meals. good work.

Familiar atmosphere in pizza restaurant near the old harbour. the pizza tasted good, but if they were looking for a fine and slender Italian style pizza, they could be disappointed. the pizzas here were massive with thick layers of cheese and other ingredients....Not as I like pizzas. but the products were fresh and they used a good wood stove. prices start at €14.

Visited restaurant on the basis of reviews on travel advisors. the first impression was goid and the prices par for the curs. my daughter and I ordered 2 pizza mins was fine, but extremely cheese heavy. my daughters were burned, the bottom was black. when I complained. the cook came out of the kitchen to make a piece of pizza that was not burned and said quite rude in French. they still accused me of the pizza, but then I just wanted to go. no good experience.

A beautiful atmosphere (small room, gray rustic stone wall, wood stove, crisp fire) and very large meal times. we had a green salate as starter (3,50 euro,) which was large in a suppening plate, fresh tomato and a good senf sauce. the pizzas from the wood were very nice, but too big with a lot of topping. pizzaiolo could be observed during preparation. most people were natives eating there. only the TV show who shows a football match was annoying.

Came across this excellent restaurant while sheltering from a freak snow storm. Its set away from the tourist area just north of the old town. When we were there it is pack with locals getting outside of generously proportioned and excellent value pizzas and grills....There is a wood-fired oven and friendly helpful staff. Small wine list of local wines, again offering value for money. Well worth finding.
