Don's Country Kitchen‎ - La Costa

This hole in the wall diner was so quaint and delicious! Service was quick and easy for it being a bustling Saturday morning. Their hash browns are what potato-dreams are made of... crunchy, golden perfection! We'll be back.

Great food. Home style cooking with a fresh from scratch, full of favor. We visit ~2-3 times a year. Over the last 5 years never been let down. Excellent service. Dietary restrictions: Have gluten friendly options.

The food was made to perfection. It's a coffee shop, so the coffee was hot but nothing to write home about, however the porkchops were very tasty, the hash brown potatoes were crisp and the biscuits and gravy were decadent.

We stopped here for breakfast before taking the family to Seaworld and loved it so much we plan on coming back. The stuffed hash browns with mushrooms and white gravy, topped with an egg and avocado were amazing, a first for me. Wife ordered the seafood Benedict. Great service and prices too!

You can never go wrong at Don's Country Kitchen. It is a must stop if you are in Carlsbad.
