Himalayan Sherpa Cuisine - La Costa

WOW WOW WOW!!!!!! We had been going to the Himalayan place in the busy village faire shopping center and boy were we missing out. THIS PLACE IS AT LEAST 3X BETTER!!!!!! Omg, just go here. Best in the state, probably the nation. Wow. The chicken eggplant dish has sauce to die for. My son said it was the best tikka masala he's had in his life. And I don't know what they do to the garlic cilantro naan, but it is OUT OF THIS WORLD. I cannot recommend this place enough. The building is not fancy, the old Al's cafe, but the food will not disappoint. I could eat there every day for the rest of my life!!!!

Lived here years, only discovered this place 6 months ago, and now we eat here at least 2 or 3 times a month. Without a doubt the best Korma (cashew coconut curry) in San Diego County. Servings are right amount. Jasmine rice always perfect. Lamb and chicken Vindaloo exceptional. Vegetable Pakora is sublime. Don’t miss this place…so delicious!

I went with my family and it was good. I ordered chicken chilly dry to share with my daughter and it was quite good. My wife ordered lamb biriani and I tried that and it was also good. Each order serves at least two people. When you consider that the price is pretty good. I also ordered a mango Lassi amd as always that was delicious. I would definitely go again and maybe order a regular item since my daughter won't eat anything anyways (4 years old). She did like the rice with the biriani though.

Delicious food, fast service and very reasonable prices

The weekday lunch deal is great but so are the dinners. The Saag and garlic herb naan are exceptional.
