People's Food Co-op - La Crosse

Absolutely fantastic! I lived in La Crosse from 1999 to 2005, and I now unfortunately reside 180 miles away. Every time I return, I make sure to visit the People's Food Co-op. Without a doubt, it's one of the best grocery stores in the entire country. They offer incredible produce, a wonderful deli, and a variety of quality products. Their freshly made salsa is simply the best I've ever tasted; it takes me back to Mother's Market in Southern California.

This is a fantastic store with excellent prices. The staff is always available to assist you, and they are consistently friendly and approachable.

We have been frequenting this restaurant for quite some time because of its fantastic and unique offerings, as well as their fresh deli-made items. During my most recent visit, I was particularly impressed by how the staff handled a situation with a customer who refused to wear a mask. As someone who has a vulnerable individual at home and a young baby, I truly appreciated the enforcement of this mandate. It made me feel safe. I often observe that businesses hesitate to enforce such measures due to the potential for conflict, so I was very grateful for their commitment! Thank you, People’s Co-op!
