The food was flavorful and authentically prepared. I could have easily gone for a second souvlaki or at least more meat, but it was just right for a light lunch. The moussaka was delicious and unlike anything we had tasted before. It could have been a bit warmer, but the flavor was excellent. The walnut cake, imported from Greece, was a delightful treat after lunch—very sweet, but what else would you expect with honey syrup? Yum!
This is undoubtedly the best Greek food in the La Crosse area. The Greek salad was straightforward yet bursting with just the right amount of zest and flavor. I sampled both the traditional pork and the Chicago-style gyro meats. While I recommend both, my favorite was definitely the Chicago-style, which features a mix of lamb and pork.
I have been on a quest for the perfect gyro ever since my time in the military over 20 years ago. The gyros I had in Germany were incredible, and I've spent a lifetime looking for something that could match them. Today, I finally found what I was looking for! Thank you so much!!! The food was amazing, and the service was outstanding. I highly recommend this place!
Greg was fantastic. He appeared to know every customer who walked into the restaurant and treated me as if we were old friends, even though we had just met. I would absolutely return in an instant.
We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with one of the warmest welcomes imaginable. The entire staff was exceptionally friendly, which instantly put us in a great mood for dinner. The food was outstanding; the chef not only has a delightful personality but is also an incredibly talented cook! It was nice to see him mingling with the customers to ensure everyone was enjoying their meal. We tried several authentic dishes, all of which were fantastic. In the attached photos, you'll see the three-meat platter and the Greek salad—definitely worth trying! The prices were very reasonable; with several shared meals, drinks, and appetizers, it came to about $25 per person. I highly recommend this charming little restaurant!
