Subway - La Crosse

The woman at the State Road Subway in La Crosse is a bit unhinged. I walked up to the express with 2 subs that were sitting on the counter already paid for, and she motioned me to get to the back of the line while she treated two other customers VERYrudely. By the time I saw the way she was treating those customers, I told her to keep those subs and she had better not chargemy credit card. She seems like she may have been mad her unemployment ran out. And by the looks of her, probably never eaten apiece of lettuce in her life. Maybe a job at Mc Donald's would help her better relate to the industry she is used to.

I ordered a wrap and a small drink. Unfortunately, the avocado was served in a ball in the middle of the wrap instead of being spread out, so I only got a few bites with avocado. To make matters worse, the soda machine splattered all over me. I had to wait for napkins and didn’t receive any apology for the mess. The staff was quite rude. When another customer came in after me, he was the only one in line and as he started to place his order, the staff told him he needed to move down the counter to do so. They also charged him extra for additional black olives. Speaking of charges, my wrap and drink totaled nearly $12, which is quite a bit around here. I want to clarify that I’m not against Subway—I had a fantastic experience at one in Grand Marais. However, this visit involved poor execution on my wrap and disappointing service.

I ordered some extras for my sandwich that cost around $5, but they were not included. The ham was supposed to be double, but it was nowhere near that amount—definitely not what I expected for a 'deluxe' option, which is supposed to be less than double. Additionally, the bacon I added to my salad was missing as well. On the positive side, the delivery was quick and efficient, but it's disappointing that the extras I paid for weren't provided.

One of the staff members was rude. She threw my sandwich and made a face at me. The service was very poor. I will never go back there again.
