Uptowne Cafe Bakery - La Crosse

While visiting La Crosse we had the pleasure of dining here. We entered at 7pm, hungry for breakfast items... they informed us breakfast was not an all day service. After seeing the disappointment on our faces the chef told us, “I got you covered.” Needless to say the meal did not disappoint, especially when our only other option was Perkins. While I do not suggest everyone to go in and demand breakfast at off hours...I do however recommend going. The service and attitude coupled with incredible deliciousness make this establishment one of the best. Can’t wait for our next trip to La Crosse.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The fried chicken in their 'chicken and waffles' dish is possibly the best I've ever tasted. It had fantastic flavor and was perfectly cooked, with no grease or oil at all.

Great food, drinks and service! And they use great clean and local ingredients. I had the best grass fed burger here! I highly recommend!

The wait staff was amazing. The food was out of this world. The chef was friendly and made us felt like we were valued. Definitely a must for the La Crosse area!

The Green Goddess Salad with grilled chicken was fantastic! The dressing, clearly homemade, was the best I've had in a long time. The venue is charming, and the staff were extremely attentive!
