Bogota Beer Company - La Dorada

On busines Trip tried to visit a local brewery to taste hand crafted local made beer. I tested 3 at BBC and they were ok, tasted more like a regular bottled beer. Service was good and ambient good also. Felt a bit disappointed

Last night went to my favorite BBC and had their latest beer, Zipaquira. What a great beer! Lovely Belgium flavor, nice appearence, lovely tones and color. I think this has become my favorite beer, among with Macondo (I hope it returns soon) and Chapinero. Very...important to mention, the service was outstanding, very friendly. I had a veggie hamburguer and it was amazing too. Thanks and keep it up!

Found this Irish pub in a popular square that was recommended by the hotel clerk. The first IPA I could find in Colombia. This had a great ambiance, decent food and the beers were great. The service was a tad bit slow so I began...to order pitchers as I didn't know when I'd see my server again. I'd recommend for a few rounds of beer, certainly.

BBC is owned by Anheuser-Busch InBev which is one of the largest beer corporations in the world. This is not craft beer, at all. It's beer for sure, and not bad beer, It's decent beer, and mass produced. The BBC locations spread around the city...are extremely American/Euro brewpub aesthetic, very phony facades and presentation to see in Colombia but locals enjoy it. The prices are not cheap for local standards. The good is good, can recommend the nachos.

We just needed a place to relax, have a few beers and quick bite. This was perfect. Seems to be a solid after work crowd for happy hour and eats. Enjoyed the pizza in a fun and relaxing atmosphere. Not necessarily a Colombian experience but...we wanted a bite near our hotel and this was great. Artisanal Colombian beer and nice atmosphere. Service can be a bit slow. We went twice during our trip.
