I was there last week at night with some friends afterwork and we had a delicious cheese dish with a very good variety of french cheeses. The dish was served with french baguette and come side dishes like olives, onions, pickled and other stuff. We had some slides of different kinds of meat like chorizo and spanish ham as well. Te restaurant is well located, the neighborhood is very noce and traditional. The service was perfect, everything served on time and the quality of food was really good. The only problem is the price because it´s kind of expensive but it's worth it.
Came here on a steak night with 8 friends and we all loved it and had a great time. Quality food and a decent wine list!
Really a fantastic experience, I recommend the Luis XV soup, the traditional French onion soup recipe, the meats are excellent, magnificent cuts with the perfect cooking. The service is perfect as Morgane your Host & Manager (French) always makes you feel special and the head chef Juan Camilo, attentive to any request and with the best attitude to present their exceptional dishes. Definitely the best site of French cuisine of Colombia
I just came back from Bogota, April 15th, 2016. I went to have Dinner at this restaurant hoping to eat a good meal. It was not the case, for instance if you ask their so called Traditional french oignon soup, you will be badly surprise. It is more a Cream oignon soup then anything else, the cheese is on 2 very small piece of bread as a side dish to that soup...Nothing related to a real traditional oignon soup that you can find not only in France but anywhere else in the World. Also, they do not have any French bread baguette, this is unknown to that restaurant, the bread they served is really bad, look and taste more like a small soft cake then real bread. No with bread what so ever in that restaurant. Their steak is very very average, not delicious, just a piece of badly cut piece of meat. I also asked for a simple cauliflower steam vegitables side dish but they brought me a cauliflower side dish swimming in a kind of bad cheese sauce or something like cheese, I couldn't even identify correctly that sauce where my cauliflower were swimming in. BAD very Bad Restaurant, go anywhere else, dont go there if you want to have a nice simple steak french meal. I hated my dinner experience at that restaurant. If you dont believe me, well just go and ask a traditional French oignon soup first and you will see what the rest of your meal will look like.
La boucherie saved me in Christmas. I was alone with my mom in Bogota because we were attending businesses in this city. We had no plan for christmas eve, looking on internet I found La boucherie, I booked our table and the rest was piece of cake. The food is delicious, the service was quite good dispite the complicated date and Usaquen (the neighborhood) is so picturesque that you are going to feell absolutely satisfy with your christmas.
