From the moment you arrive you are enchanted by the decoration and friendly, smiley staff, then the bread basket and the crafted cheese (super recommend it) invites you to order everything on the menu. The whole breakfast was really good, we were all very pleased...with our dishes. My big plus is for families with babies, La Cesta has a changing table!!! if you have little ones in your family you know that is very difficult to find charming places with those kind of facilities. Thumbs up!
Visited as a family and had great breakfast every day. From the omelette to the croissants, loved everything.
We keep going back. Excellent food at reasonable prices. They make their own bread and pastries. The “especiales” are an specially good deal. For example, pepper steak medallions with rice and almonds, salad, lemonade and chocolate cake for an unbeatable price. The staff is very...friendly.
My wife and I had made reservations for breakfast on a Sunday morning at La Cesta 109. We got there at 10 sharp. There was 2 or 3 groups waiting in line on Calle 109. So I went up to the person attending at the...entrance and told her I had a reservation for 10 AM. She looked around inside and came back to offer me a table inside. I said that I had made the reservation expressly for a table on the front terrace. The three tables there were occupied, so she offered me the table that had just one chair and was where they had the hand sanitizer. We didn’t accept it and left. The safety protocols didn’t look to be working. I thought that restaurants could only serve people that had reservations. I guess that doesn’t apply. I understand that with the pandemic things are out of whack but La Cesta 109 doesn’t seem to have figured out a safe, reliable way to handle the new way of doing business,
