Fair enough: It doesn't have the best ambience... or the hip decor, the newer restaurants... but its clean and comfortable, yet. On the other hand, food is always fresh and consistently prepared to produce authentic Japanese flavors, along with some of their delicious homemade inventions. The service is also great and experienced. If you are looking for great Japanese food, in a very well located place, this place is hitting most other options currently out there.
Well, all right, the only sushi in Bogotá. But it was really good, pleasantly served in decent portions; with **** Marys, which became better after being taken extra (i.e. some) chili. I agree with other reviewers that it was at the top... the end of what I want to pay for a single course meal. Could come back, but would want to test other places in our new 'show first. We went to a late lunch on Saturday and first were the only customers. When we came back after our movie, it was pretty busy at 9:00.
The sushi is pretty good, fresh and soft, but the place is overpriced because of its location. Would probably order th r again qualitywise though.
Not only was my Colombian Japanese guy very talented but he was funny too. We had a great time and would return. Food was very delicious restaurant was clean as a pin.
This is a very simple restaurant near Park 93 and the dishes they serve are very traditional. Of course they have the sushi and sashimi local people like (which is the only thing you will find in other restaurants here) but in terms of real...japanese food they serve very good curry (japanese style), udon, oyakodon, etc. For me it's comfort food always when in Bogota.
