Hi Bbq Teriyaki - La Habra

I stopped at this restaurant on my way back to LA because it looked appealing, but I ended up disappointed. I ordered the cattle and chicken combo, along with spicy tuna rolls, spam musubi, and a lot of rice underneath. The rolls were a complete mess, with avocado spilling out everywhere. The meat was extremely salty, though the chicken was quite good. I inquired about wasabi and was told they didn’t have any, which was surprising given that they serve sushi. When I asked about ginger and soy sauce, I was told they had soy sauce but no ginger. I opted for soy sauce and hot sauce instead, but when I opened my bag, I found only two packets of wasabi, a soy sauce, and a chili sauce. I ended up having to save my food and make do. To top it all off, I waited about 10 minutes after placing my order and another five after I had paid.

The item I tried today was the chicken bowl. Paid about 10 dollars with tip included. The bowl did not disappoint ! Very crispy and with good tasting teriyaki sauce. The girl at the window was also very nice. Make sure to ask for more sauce they only include one.

Was good food was cooked to order friendly staff. Wouldnt be my first choice for teryaki style food but good.
