Never had New Mexico style food before and I have been sold! This place combines great food, awesome service, and modest prices. In an area saturated with Mexican food places, give this one a try and you won't go wrong. Especially recommend trying the stuffed red chili beef sopapilla and the bean dip.
One my favorite restaurants. Chile Verde is delicious. Double stack cheese enchiladas are some of the best around. Chili verde Sopadillas are so good. Small place. Opens at 11am...Definitely worth a visit
This particular location is a New Mexico style food restaurant and not Mexican food. If you keep this in mind you will have an overall great experience! As not only is the food delicious but the customer service is superb! BTW, the female owner attending the restaurant this morning is absolutely beautiful! ?
I ordered a veggie burrito and they suggested to replace the traditional tortilla with this sopapilla dough they are famous for. While it definitely made it difficult to pick up and eat like a regular burrito, the flaky, chewy, and doughy sopapilla bread was definitely a unique twist that was very much appreciated. Closest comparison I can draw is that of a chimichanga. The flavors were there and the accompanying salad and tortilla chips were a welcome addition.
