Angeli's Cafe - La Jolla

Great cafe with delicious breakfast/lunch options. Food is healthier and quality is great. I tried her signature mint latte, which was delicious and her mushroom toast with an additional egg. You also have wine and champagne if you are looking for a boozy brunch. Will definitely come back!

I love this place! The salted maple leaf was amazing. As good as I basically took it. And the yogurt bowl is probably the most valuable bowl yogurt I've ever got. It's enormous and delicious. Not a fan of muffin, but very happy with everything I ordered.

The café is really sweet and has a really nice ambience, and the workers are all super nice. I will probably come back to try some of the cool drinks on the menu. it is a really sweet place for lunch or a coffee date. came here for dinner and the food was pretty good, I liked her menu a lot and would definitely come back and try more. I had the falafel Burger who was fine. I also had a Matcha raspberry cake that was also decent.

The service and the food was great and I prefer this location above the in Little Italy, as it has a better parking situation. Rice bawl with grilled salmon was very delicious, and large portions. Black coffee was ok, nothing special and the music was too loud, it was difficult to hear my friends sitting at the table. Overall good experience, we came on Saturday at 2 a.m. and there were tables inside available, was pretty busy outside but.

It 's supposed to be easy to locate the cafe, but it wasn 't that easy due to that super small cafe hiding behind the sun screen/umbrella...lol.. anyway, if you come at the right time, you can see people lining up. So you can tell, yea, over there. I only ordered the matcha lette this time( I personally avoiding coffee as possible). I can tell it is slightly different than the one(default setting) you order in Starbuck. Less sugar(which is good), they seem use different brand/kind of matcha powder, but I can taste they add more scoops than Starbuck. Some kinds of balance on matcha and milk. Four stars because overall experience is not yet perfect, but for sure, worth give it a shot.
