Cali Baguette Express - La Jolla

The young man at the counter was the only real positive during this visit. The coffee is nowhere near as good as it used to be and they no longer carry the seeded baguette nor the pate puff pastry. I used to really like this place.

Call ahead and will be ready when you get there....

It’s a small-ish interior with id say 10-15 tables. They also had a bunch of little things on sale (jarred pickled radish, soy sauce bottles, a couple of vases, etc) but I got the #2 and omg so good!

Food is always fresh and delicious. Service is fast and friendly.

The banh mi experience I was hoping to come to san diego. decent size. bigger than my nephews. grilled bark meat was tasty af and the carrots and moistness level was at the point, my mother got the Cali special and it was good and my nephew got the garnel and it was also good. they were except durian, but I have the Taro potion.
