Cali Street Tacos - La Jolla

Family-owned and operated, this place is the real deal. The tacos are incredible, and their habanero sauce is outstanding!

I went to Cali Street Tacos for the first time since I was at the motel just a few blocks away. I went in and saw that they had a little menu I liked. I ordered a Cheso Taco with Carne Asada and a few tacos. I loved their tacos being made with handmade tortillas. Next time I visit San Diego, it will be my place to eat. I highly recommend it.

I've had the 3 rolled tacos, al pastor and carne asada tacos, and French fries. Everything was delicious and fresh tasting, not greasy at all, and VERY affordable. The French fries are HUGE and only $2?! Literally family size. I'd love it if the el pastor had pineapple on it, which would add another layer of fresh flavor. From what I've eaten here, this is a great little spot that won't leave you with a food hangover.

One of the best Mexican food places I have ever been to in all of San Diego county. Would highly recommend it to all my friends. I will definitely be back for another Cheso taco! Wow

The tortillas here are fantastic! The tacos are incredibly fresh and the staff is very friendly! The fish taco and the veggie taco were both delicious! I can't see why anyone would choose another place in La Jolla.
