Haru Sushi - La Jolla

Got busy and service got backed up. Service protocol was off -don’t know if server was new at waiting tables but definitely needs more training

Server were very nice and eating was good. we liked two of the three we ordered. I'm sure we're back!

Really tasty and fresh nigiri sushi. uni! also the sushi reels and tonkatsu rays were excellent. the music level is low enough to have a conversation without problems. the staff were very friendly and helped our children with chiffel trainers. a great sushi spot!

The food was good, but it was over an hour before they started to make our rolls. when we asked for updates, they simply asked us to wait.

Went here for a birthday dinner. This appears to be run by a very hard working family. It’s in a quiet section of La Jolla Village with loads of convenient free street parking. It’s easy to find. Place is spotless, menus is huge with a nice assortment of sushi sashimi and cooked food. We began with mixed tempura excellently prepared, then moved onto a selection of sashimi (small platter) nigiri and rolls. The fish is of superb quality and the presentation very attractive. The waiters were attentive but not obtrusive. Everyone was extremely friendly and nice and the prices are low for the quality. Highly recommend and this will become a go to for our family.
