Lean And Green Cafe - La Jolla

This place is fantastic! They offer a wide variety of options, and the create-your-own section is especially extensive. The café has a wonderful atmosphere, thanks to the energetic employees and the new owners (who took over in 2020) who are doing an excellent job.

I visited this restaurant during my trip to the area. It was a bit pricey, but the portion sizes were generous. I had a dish with a shell, almonds, and strawberries. My dish was served hot, but my companion's was usually cold and seemed to have been microwaved, which was a bit disappointing. They did drizzle agave syrup over it, though. The coffee was decent, and they offered milk as well. They have turkey and eggs on the menu, but the focus is mainly on vegetarian options. They also offer vegan gelato to go and a variety of granola bars. There’s a great selection overall, including smoothies, bowls, and wraps. I enjoyed breakfast there, and everything else on the menu looked delicious too!

This is a great spot for a sandwich or salad. The previous owner had a very different vibe. Parking can be a bit challenging.

I had a great salad here, but the problem was that I was hungry after that. very good food, great veggie options w/ some fish served. a little expensive.

Tasty and healthy food. A lot of vegan options. Conveniently located in downtown La Jolla.
