Mike's Giant New York Pizza - La Jolla

I believe this restaurant has been established for 35 years. The pizza is excellent, and I can't wait to try other items on their diverse menu!

I've only tried the pepperoni pizza and Greek salad, but I absolutely love both! The pizza sauce is packed with flavor, and the Greek salad is my favorite. While it may not be the healthiest option, it's definitely delicious! I enjoy putting the Greek salad on top of the pizza, too!

Mike serves an absolutely incredible pizza! The dough is slightly crispy yet chewy, and the sauce has a perfect balance of boldness and just the right amount of saltiness that complements the tomatoes beautifully. The mozzarella is chewy and stringy, enhancing the fantastic sauce, while the top-notch pepperoni and perfectly cooked mushrooms take it to another level. After living in New York for a few years, I can confidently say that nothing compares to Mike's Giant New York Pizza!

I really enjoyed the pizza from this place. It is a bit more expensive, but worth it in my opinion. I waited no more than 15 minutes for my order and staff was friendly. The only thing I didn't like was the interior of this place, it definitely needs some new remodeling. Some booths are covered with duct tape.
