Rimels - La Jolla

I've been coming to this restaurant for 10 years, and the food is fantastic! I typically order the rotisserie burrito, and their green sauce is truly incredible!

My brother discovered this restaurant through Google reviews, and it’s nestled among a charming cluster of small eateries that all seemed worth a visit. The space is cozy and inviting, featuring five small tables and a counter area (though no one was seated there during our visit). There’s also a lovely terrace in front of the restaurant. Our server was fantastic, and the food was outstanding. I ordered the rotisserie chicken with mixed vegetables, which came with what I believe was a delicious green goddess dressing on the side. My group tried nearly everything on the menu, and the only dishes that didn’t quite hit the mark were the Burrito and the Queen. However, everyone else absolutely loved their meals. I highly recommend this place!

Rimel's Rotisserie is the place to go for an excellent and authentic food. Wide selection of menus. Well-proposed meals and made to your order. You also have the BEST staff there. The service was excellent for everyone. They actually made us feel like family. Our waitress, Sabrina was very friendly and efficient. Very recommended. Will go back there. Thank you for everything.

Friendly people and the food is fresh. Taste home made you could say. The BBQ chicken sandwich was mediocre in my opinion. It didn 't taste like much yet it was drenched in some kind of flavorless pink spicy spread and the rotisserie chicken inside was so mulched it was more like pink spicy spread pate. Because it was already so drenched in the pink sauce adding the BBQ sauce they give you on the side was pretty unreasonable seeing the sandwich was already 50% sauce. They kept it real and didn 't charge me for it. The potatoes on the side were very nice, I offered to pay for them as a side and said don 't worry about it. I would happily return and try another item on the menu. P.S. I had a small bite of my friend 's chicken breast sandwich and it was simply delicious.

Love this place! Great customer service every time. It's small, but there is indoor and outdoor seating with heaters, TV inside, and most importantly, the food is fantastic! Get the pot stickers appitizer. You won't regret it.
