Small cafe bakery with limited indoor seating (about 6 tables), a lot of outdoor seating. When we went in September 2021, they had good Covid 19 protocols that forced the vaccination pass, contact info, sanitary hands and social distancing. There was a line out of the door when we arrived at 2:00, but it moved quickly, and the service was efficient. There was a vegan option the tempeh asiatique sandwich. The tempeh was tasteful, and overall it was average. There was a handful of vegetarian options, as well as oats and soy milk for coffee. Updated by previous review on 2021 09 05
Very good tempeh sandwich (the only really vegan option if you don't ommit on other menu item cheese)
In an epicerie featuring the food products of Charlevoix I was especially happy to find this offering. Marinated and blackened tempeh on a tasty bun with salad. Superbe! It was a busy place w lineup to order.
Employees took the trouble to explain things on the menu to 3 non-speakers of French. Service was quick and friendly, the food excellent. The view out the windows was beautiful. All-in-all, one of the best stops on our trip.
