Ihop - La Mesa

After sitting in the car 20 mins my daughter had to walk in to get our food. She angrily comes back and says the food was just sitting there. My eggs were brown from overcooking, the sausage look like beef jerky and the pancakes were literally cold.

I ordered the chicken and waffles. The waffles were delicious but my chicken was very hard. 2 of the strips were lighter in color and very very hard like they were reheated, just very hard to bite a piece off. The other pieces were darker and juicer looking like they were fresh and I was able to take a bite with out feeling like I was biting into beef jerky. I gave 3 stars instead of 2 because the others in my table enjoyed their options. One was a breakfast sampler and the other 2 were lunch sandwiches.

Customer service was 2/5 it little take 45 min for the waiter to show up. Bef just for quick lunch we end up spending 2h. Foods was okay

Pay $15 for a $5 breakfast that sat in the window when the butter does not melt on the pancakes when they run the food, they do not lead the food because it is ice cold. everything, but the eggs are bagged and it shows. (while ihoppy) I can mean son and I both eat for just $10,79, that's cool, but come on)

Pancakes always good , different menu options with pancakes.. Lunch lots of sandwiches, hamburgers, fish, B.L.T. etc... Dinner not much .. Best for Breakfast r lunch meals i felt. Went later in evening employees were nice,. had no problems and a nice woman took our orders, served us. Worth tipping her for her service, Friendly, patients as We decided what we wanted.
