Johnny B's Burgers Brew Spirits

We had a great experience with the waffle and wings—probably one of the best waffles I've ever had. The other servers were very friendly, but our assigned waiter wasn't as welcoming. The staff's friendliness and flexibility made our waiter’s lack of warmth stand out in a negative way. The atmosphere was lively, filled with sports and conversation, and it definitely feels like a local hotspot, considering how well the staff knew some of the regulars. We're planning to return and hope for better service next time.

Chill sports bar. Great burgers, they do take awhile but worth the wait

We have been going there for years. Always good food and service. Apparently a large party is not their forte. They wouldn’t split the bill nor was I advised of that when calling to reserve the tables. Our waitress was a great server. No problem returning my drink-margaritas used to be the best-it was awful. Overall, I do t recommend a party over 4!

We love this spot! The burgers are amazing and is our go to burger spot in La Mesa.

This is my third visit to this restaurant, and I absolutely love it! My server, an older gentleman who was both funny and energetic (I'm sorry I forgot his name because I was having such a good time!), provided excellent service. The food was fantastic once again! I highly recommend this place for a relaxed outing, whether you're on a date, hanging out with friends or family, or even dining solo. It's my go-to spot for enjoying delicious meals in a chill atmosphere. I’ll definitely keep coming back! P.S. The ambiance is wonderful, with both indoor and outdoor seating, and they host trivia nights on Tuesdays.
