We had 4 children with us, so they picked from the menu, only to be told that the kids menu is no more and they had to have a full version of the spaghetti Bolognese, which most was then wasted and the other 2 couldn't have a burger as this wasn't on the adults menu. Waiter was on the bar smoking and had a dog running around, I thought this was unhygienic
A very quiet place, quite large and with a varied menu. The attention is very good from the owners. Good value for money.
I met it when it was necessary to reserve, now it is empty. I went on Father's Day and there was only my table. The menu was good but of the options there were, only the meat was different, the rest of the dish, everything was the same. I didn't like anything that reeked of cigar or tobacco smoke. If it is open to the public, it shouldn't smell, especially in a restaurant.
Authentic Spanish restaurant that you could easily drive by, if you are near Benidorm and want to try home cooked Spanish food try this place When you arrive you may think it’s closed, more likely the owners are sat by the pool, but as you walk in they great you and sit you down in a nice air cooled restaurant area. As each dish is cooked to order you will be here a while but you are rewarded with excellent food the best paella I have had (lobster and seafood) Prices are very good and we had the restaurant to ourselves due to its remote location definitely worth the trip
After calling at 7pm to book a table at 8, we turned up to find only one other table occupied and they were just about to leave. There was evidence that one other table had been used. So probably 9 covers over the course of the evening (we dined in splendid isolation). The food was good and the portions were generous. The only comment is that venison was on both the a la carte menu as well as the fixed menu. After some debate as to whether there was any left at all, we were told there were 2 portions left but that for the fixed menu, I would be served beef, not venison! OK there are some people who would accept the change and who might not be able to taste the difference but if you are gong to serve beef, it should advertised as beef. Apart from that issue, this is a reasonable restaurant, although the decor could do with updating.
