El Mezquite Grill - La Paz

Excellent food, excellent service, very cheap prices!! We are here 4-5 times now, as it is our goal for red meat when we visit La Paz. The mesquite grill taste is phenomenal!! We tried the boards, burgers and steaks. Everything's so delicious. The atmosphere is lively, fun and casual, not stuffy like a lot of thr restaurants right in the Melone. Get out of one of the higher steak houses and come here. The staff is friendly. 5/5!

Do you ever have one of these moments where you know that you will dream about the meal you are currently eating for months to come? So good is the food here. The burgers and ribs looked delicious, but due to the other reviews we had to go with the castle briand. The salad came out first. It was very fresh, with sprouts and house made honey mustard dressing that was excellent. Then came the gigantic plate of perfectly seasoned, melting tender and pine flavored meat with baked potatoes, grilled vegetables and delicious mushroom Gravy. The service was impeccable. I'm sure I'm back! They only accept cash.

This place is located in downtown La Paz and has a casual atmosphere. Was surprised to see Chateaubriand on the menu. It was excellent and cooked for perfection. Her margarita was also very good. Great food at a reasonable price. Would recommend without hesitation.

Location and atmospere is awesome! The bartender who was also our waiter (we sat in the bar side of the restaurant to watch football) was outstanding! He went out of his way for us! The food is just ok. I like to cook so I know it was grilled earlier but reheated before they served it. I had the half chicken. Cocktails were oustanding.

I stay a week each year fishing La Paz area. I have eaten here 4 times n 2 years. Never had a burger here because why? It’s all about the steak here. Leave yourself 20+30 minutes before your meal Is served and savor every minute when it gets there. Service was top notch and the drinks cold and proper. Love this place
