Le Hibou - La Pêche

A consistently great place for amazing nachos and fish tacos, very very good steak, and usually a bunch of other winning dishes. Generally great servers/service; super cute decor. A bit pricey, it's true ... But a reliable place for lunch or dinner along the river.

This was absolutely the best place I’ve been in a long time, from the food to the ambience to the staff. Everything was amazing and I really enjoyed our visit.

Such a fabulous experience! The shrimp croquettes and the lavender marguerita are simply divine I hope they're never taken off the menu! The service was wonderful and the atmosphere perfect. Definitely one of my favourite restaurants!

Another reason to love Quebec! This is a fantastic, cozy, and cute restaurant in the beautiful town of Wakefield. The biggest highlight is the fish chips. The fish is fresh and it is served with cabbage, fresh home fries and a delicious home made tartar sauce. The vegan burger was absolutely brilliant. It was extremely flavourful. What made the 2 items even better was the hot sauce and I purchased a bottle of it to bring home. The staff is extremely polite and courteous. In fact they suggested me to buy the sauce separately to avoid paying service charge on the bottle. I have saved this place for the future. Cafe Le Hibou you have found a new loyal patron! Delicious food. Friendly service. Great patio view of the lake. Beer and vinho Verde selections. Had pork belly on steamed bun, home made hummus and poke bowls. Relaxed and enjoyable vibe. Perfect place to eat delicious food. The shrimp ceviche was the only dish we wouldn't order again as it had lime and not much else going on in the dish. Went June 30 as a celebratory lunch. Definitely going back to Cafe Le Hibou.
