Sam's Southern Eatery - La Place

Today we visited at Sam's from a 100 miles away. We really enjoyed it Food was great and Service excellent. It was cold inside but they were having heating issues. Owner even provided electric heat and was so kind to us. IF YOU HAVEN'T BEEN GO!!! I will go back when I'm in Laplace Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Stopped in LaPlace, LA to get a shrimp po boy sandwich and also a Oyster PO Boy sandwich. This is a must whenever I’m in the New Orleans area . I was headed back to Chicago the following morning. And this place was open that evening. I was very pleased with the services and the sandwiches were good! I will be back again Service: Takeaway Meal type: Other

It has to be new owners because the lady that takes the orders is very rude and I’m still waiting for the owner to call me back . It’s been 3 weeks since I’ve been waiting for a called . They need to get the lady that was the sweetest person taking phone orders so we would eat here 2x a week and with her lying to me I have taken my buisness elsewhere . Thank god I didn’t have an allergic reaction to the CHICKEN THAT I CANT HAVE but gave it to me anyway . To bad they lost a great customer and if the girl old lady still takes orders they will loose more customers and not to mention she hung up in my face and didn’t appreciate that one bit .
