Cap Martin - La Pocatière

I believe there are some unfair reviews about this hotel. The room I stayed in was very nice and clean; the bathroom and floors were also spotless. The furniture looked new and had been recently renovated. The staff were friendly and helpful. While the hotel’s restaurant isn’t always open, it’s worth noting that many hotels operate without one. Overall, I had a great experience!

This hotel is excellent with a fantastic staff! The front desk team is incredibly helpful, and they speak both English and French, which is great for those who don't speak French. The rooms are nice, quiet, and clean. There is also a restaurant available for breakfast and lunch.

Next to the parking lot, there was a field with horses, which the kids found delightful and added to the overall ambiance. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed for dinner, which was a bit disappointing, but we enjoyed some delicious poutine from a nearby food stand instead. In the morning, we had breakfast from the restaurant in our room. The food was average and a bit overpriced, but considering the circumstances, it was worth it for the convenience. The bike path along the river connects to the hotel parking lot via a route along the road (about 800 meters). I felt safe jogging on it, but I wouldn't recommend walking with young kids. Instead, we drove to a nearby visitor center with parking to take the kids. The path itself was absolutely beautiful and very peaceful in the early morning, offering plenty of picturesque views. We received great, friendly service from the front desk, and I would definitely consider returning!

Stayed there one night due vehicle break down heading to NS. Staff were super accommodating. They helped is transfer our personal effects from the garage to the hotel. They were also flexible on checkout time as our ride back to NS arrived the following afternoon. The room staff were excellent and very polite. I would not hesitate to return to this hotel in the future and highly recommend it for anyone in a similar situation or visiting this beautiful location along the St Laurence.

This is a great place . Quiet and peaceful. Rooms are clean and neat. The restaurant had great food and great staff . On the weekend the lady at the desk has wonderful coffee and is very friendly . I would stay here again if I am ever that way . I would give it an extra star if I could Service: 5
