Pepe's Mexican - La Porte

Breakfast! They’re opened for breakfast at 5:30 now. Pepe’s never disappoints; always good food and friendly owners.

If you don't have at least two hours for lunch, I would recommend avoiding this restaurant. We ended up leaving after waiting 45 minutes for our food.

I ordered the Chili Rellenos and requested a substitute of Chili Con Queso instead of the Ranchero sauce, as I'm not a fan of it. Unfortunately, they only added about two tablespoons of queso to the pepper. The rice was dry, and the refried beans had a burnt taste. To add insult to injury, they charged me an additional $3.00 for the queso. I was very disappointed with both the quality and the price of the meal. I wouldn't recommend this place. Also, their website lists the dish at $12.75, but I was charged $15.95 in the restaurant.

Vegetarian options: You'll find a selection of vegetables that you can mix and match on your plate. Kid-friendliness: Excellent.
