The fried Shrimp and Onion Rings were cooked perfectly. Add the views of ships, barges, tugs and car ferries as they pass by and it's a real treat to dine here.
You can have a treat by going to this restaurant. My salad today was a bit sad. We order a fish sandwich and a fish platter. We were not very hungry and both plates were plenty of food. For some reason the fish was a little dry and had fishy taste. Overall experience was good. Server was very busy but managed to take care of us. We just enjoyed the view and helped us remember when we used to go there for a romantic lunch ?. Please, please, please leave room for the delicious cinnamon and dinner rolls made in house. They are superb. I believe they are part of the platters so check before you select your entrée.
Now this is what a no-nonsense seafood establishment should be. The food was excellent! The fisherman's platter was delicious, fried oysters were cooked perfectly. Calamari appetizer was a crowd pleaser as well. The girls loved the atmosphere, watching the traffic on the ship channel go by. Will definitely visit again.
Wow!! This was the best meal I?ve had in a long time. I asked them to put the marinara cream sauce on the pene with blackened chicken. It was INCREDIBLE. The rolls are so good. Service was fast, friendly and excellent.
If you get the all you can eat plate, you will not be disappointed. There is so much food and it was all so great. I couldn't recommend this place more if you want sea food! Starts with raw oysters, boiled shrimp and some great rolls. Second round is fried shrimp, fried oysters, fried catfish, stuffed crab, French fries and the finished of with some great cinnamon rolls. And you can get seconds and thirds of any of these! Definitely should try it out if you're in the area! The atmosphere and watching the barges float by while you eat is pretty cool as well.
