The food is excellent and I cannot wait to return to try the all you can eat seafood option. The rolls are delicious and fresh. Yet the best is at the end. A cinnamon roll that could quite possibly beat my Aunt Letha’s. But don’t tell her.
I have been here several times and never had a bad experience. Staff always friendly, place is clean( even bathrooms), the view of the water is cool. It is upstairs , they do have a chair lift for those that need it. Banquet room is down stairs. The restaurant has huge picture windows overlooking the Feery Landing and the Houston ship channels. Lots of BIG ships! The food is amazing, lots of choices. It’s on the pricey side but we’ll worth it! I’d plan for minimum if $25 a person . The portions are good size. The homemade rolls and cinnamon rolls are crazy good ! It’s off the beaten path but very worth the short drive to the water.
If you get the all you can eat plate, you will not be disappointed. There is so much food and it was all so great. I couldn't recommend this place more if you want sea food! Starts with raw oysters, boiled shrimp and some great rolls. Second round is fried shrimp, fried oysters, fried catfish, stuffed crab, French fries and the finished of with some great cinnamon rolls. And you can get seconds and thirds of any of these! Definitely should try it out if you're in the area! The atmosphere and watching the barges float by while you eat is pretty cool as well.
Excellent food and service. Make sure you love fish, shrimp, oysters and all the other great stuff to eat. The blackened shrimp and salmon and crab cakes are delicious. The appetizers are out of this world especially the fried jalapenos with crab meat in it. Great scenery
This is a fantastic restaurant that has been around for many years, and while the exterior shows its age, don't let that deter you. The food is excellent and served promptly by friendly staff in a clean and comfortable environment. To start, we enjoyed warm, freshly baked bread and cinnamon rolls! We ordered the appetizer sampler for $12, which is a great deal, featuring Cajun popcorn shrimp, alligator, stuffed crab, crab-stuffed jalapeños, and mozzarella sticks. The small salad was served quickly on chilled plates, which I appreciated. I opted for the seafood sampler, priced at $26, which is a steal given the generous portions and high quality—featuring catfish, shrimp, oysters, stuffed shrimp, and stuffed crab, all well-seasoned and crispy. I also splurged on a $3 upgrade to onion rings, and I’m so glad I did; they were perfectly crunchy and sweet. My wife ordered the Chicken Parmesan with a side of Alfredo, and the bite I was lucky enough to steal was absolutely delicious.
