Eggspectation - La Prairie

It was our first time having breakfast here. I wasn’t expecting much as I’m usually not impressed with chain restaurants but this time I was totally blown away. I’ve never had the opportunity to have eggs Benedict over crab cakes and they were truly delicious!!...Service was good too. I look forward to returning.

While the children in the group liked their banana split waffles mac cheese, I was extremely disappointed with my poutine. It was not hot it was hard to find the tiny bits of cheese in it. I expected better poutine in Montreal...! Also, washrooms were located deep underground not easy to access.

Clean, prompt, open early. Portions substantial, food was tasty, close to many hotels in Old Montreal.

Great location.Varied Food Selection. Good portions. Reasonable Prices. Good Potatoes. Only downside is that the service is slow and the bathrooms are really dirty. Apart from that, the food was really good.

Went to Montreal for a day visit and stopped here for lunch. First thing we noticed was they have a huge menu from breakfast, burgers, sandwiches, pasta, salads, etc. I ordered a wrap and poutine, which both were pretty good. My wife got waffles with caramel maple syrup, which was delicious. Service was decent. We would stop again
