I am a frequent customer of this restaurant. Very good sushi in my opinion. However I should mention that I am a maki fan, and not a sashimi fan. I really like the quality there, especially for the maki. I am not a big sashimi eater so can't really comment on it. Very small restaurant, so do make the reservation in advance. They also do a lot of take outs, because of this, you may want to prepare yourself to wait, especially on Friday Saturday. It happens to me twice that I need to wait up to an hour before the first dish is served. But is well worth it. I really like the food quality there.

The lunch combo costs around $15. My go-to order includes sashimi of yellowtail, tuna, octopus, salmon, fried egg, white fish, and crab stick, accompanied by rice. It also comes with a salad, soup, and a scoop of ice cream at the end (you can check out their full menu online). I find their prices to be reasonable compared to many other sushi places that tend to be quite expensive. There aren't many places that serve good fresh yellowtail, either. The quality of the fish is quite good. I compare it to my experiences with sushi in Japan. While it doesn't quite match the best options available in Japan, like Otoro (fatty tuna), Yasu's fish offers a respectable taste reminiscent of Japan. KT
