Great food, good service. Something hard to get them on the phone in autumn and winter. They are super packed in these seasons.
Very large portions for #11. Server gave 2 of us a whole jalapeno and 6 limes! In Canada we only get 1 of everyone. Price is avg for range. Breadh was like the best in Calgary, Ab. There were 10 other tables and our server came to give us water every few minutes.
My first time here. I went to solo, but I felt kind of like I didn't want to. Wasn't really welcomed by anyone. I was told to just sit somewhere. I chose the window. The server knew the menu quite well, but we spent a little time to find out what article I describe. I was pretty clear except the color of the noodles. She finally suggested the article I wanted, so I was happy, but the article was overwhelming. The chicken was tender and nicely burned. The noodles were fine, but I felt like it needed more. It was very basic for $15. I don't speak flowing Viet, but it's called something like Bungalow xeo gia. There might be another word in the end, but I just remember it. And other places where I got this dish were huge bowls of noodles and had all kinds of fresh vegetables and 2 egg rolls above. This version was filled, but it was just noodles and chicken. Not bad, but if I pay $15, I feel like there should be something more. The service was very moderate and so my food was so with my review.
$14 for a chicken rice plate. Rice is nothing special, the chicken was good however, overall not worth it. Customer service is mediocre. I had to get the menu myself and the side condiments for my table from another table. Also note, when OTHER customers walked in right after me, they were handed a menu. One of the other guests too were asked how they were doing. Honestly annoyed and I don?t expect at all to be treated VIP or anything, but literally just do the basics smh.
