Hostellerie La Claire Fontaine

We were lured in by the hiker menu priced at 22 euros per person and decided to dine with a group of 6. Upon entering the restaurant, we were immediately hit with a terrible smell of old and dog. Besides another couple, we were the only patrons in the restaurant. Unfortunately, when we tried to order from the menu, most of the dishes were already sold out even though the restaurant had just opened. The appetizer was decent (chickets with cheese or melon wrapped in ham), but things went downhill from there. The ham was cold and the trout seemed like it had just come out of the freezer, lacking in taste. Even the dessert (vanilla ice cream) was disappointing, as it was made with all industrial products, including the chocolate sauce. The restroom was unhygienic, with a foul smell and appeared to be poorly maintained. Overall, this dining experience left much to be desired and we were eager to leave.

The 22€ menu lacked flavor, with bland cheese croquettes and trout cream with mushrooms that tasted like frozen products.

I don't even count the number of times I've been shaved the qualite service and frankly fraicher the eye office!

By the way, we had been seduced by the Euro/Person hiker menu, we went to people. As soon as we cross the door, there's a smell of hell, old and dog, apart from another couple, we were the only ones. when we were in order, most dishes (from the menu) were no longer available (when the restaurant had just opened). the entrance was good (chickets with cheese or ham melon). the unpleasant surprises began after: cold ham inside, trout (exit from the freezer probably) still cold inside and without any taste. dessert (white ice), all products were industrial (even chocolate sauce). The toilets, on the ground, are simply draining! You're not leaving!

Menu without flavor: cheese croquette, mushroom cream trout while frozen without taste.
