Le Dragon d'Or - La Roche-sur-Yon

All food in general was really good!! The marmite i had was really tasty and without any exageration of veggies as most of the curry plates i had. The waitress was just amazing.. Really helpful, always taking her time to explain you everything and polite! I strongly recommend it. p.s I don 't give the 5 because the outside sitting area wasn 't decorated at all and didn 't seem asian at all.. The inside was a really nice enviroment well decorated for a chinese restaurant!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!!!!! Extremely rude staff that don’t care about their customers not even a good evening when we arrived , just shouted at for arriving at 5 minutes to 7 when they don’t open until 7 even though the door was open ! Food had been reheated from lunchtime and when I left food on my plate as it was not nice I was told if I dont eat up I will have to pay an extra charge of a minimum 6 euros!!! They happily looked at my daughter and said the same would happen if she does not eat all her food and explained I should finish it if she doesn’t this made her feel extremely uncomfortable she is only 6 ! This is advertised as an eat as much as you like buffet and I was astounded to be shouted and pointed at while the staff put her fingers in and spat her words out on the food she was trying to force feed me ! The hygiene in this place is not good either we were the second family to arrive and the toilets were filthy ! Around the door handles were black and the rest you can imagine .. When I went to get pudding the strawberries were mouldy and not one edible my daughter was very disappointed! To add insult to injury when I regretfully went to pay for this terrible experience the same waitress that had greeted us with rudeness it appears she may be the owner proceeded to talk down to me about wasting food and what it means to run a restaurant then topped it off by telling me that with us she had been gentle and normally she would be a lot worse and she was proud of that. What a dreadful attitude for someone supposedly front of house , I have no idea how they can survive , so if you don’t want your day and/ or evening ruined like us then please Avoid this place like the plague as there is not one nice thing to say about it ! Such a shame ….. I regret not taking photos to add to this review but in the moment I was too upset to think of this !
