Cyclo-pousse Saigon - La Rochelle

The staff try their best to please at this popular and reasonably priced Vietnamese restaurant outside the touristed centre of La Rochelle. But the dishes are a pale shade of the fresh zingy flavours found in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. I think that Vietnamese cuisine is one of the most difficult to transplant to a faraway land.

Excellent Vietnamese, the only one in La Rochelle. A bit off the tourist trail but all the better for that. All dishes are prepared in their kitchen from scratch. Good service, low prices including free home delivery with 10 off menu prices. Might be a good idea to book on the weekend. The locals love it. Don't miss this restaurant otherwise you have to go to Paris to find somewhere nearly as good.

Very nice welcome, the menu is always as well, and a delicious cuisine. Menu at 25 €, soup at the top, and magret duck lacquered pineapples excellent!!! The servers are really good. I recommend the best Vietnamese in La Rochelle.
