Tonton Louis - La Rochelle

With my son, we had only one haste, it is to have lunch in this fabulous restaurant on the seaside, near the port area of the palice, where we can not better for shells and other atlantic treats.

We went there in the evening, on resa, in week.Buffet sea fruit very fresh, very good ... knives ..... a killing ! my wife has chosen the fish of the day .. excellent service efficient and without chichis we will return!

Partiamo dalla location: sul porto, all'estremità di una zona industriale. Non ci sarebbe motivo per allontanarsi da La Rochette se non fosse che per questo ristorante. Pesce freschissimo, crudi eccezionali, dalle ostriche ai granchi passando per gamberi e lumache di mare. Non occorre altro. Il locale nel complesso è carino, ricostruisce l'arredamento di una nave. In bagno c'è anche l'effetto gabbiani, per farsi una risata. Ottima bollicina Gilet a prezzo conveniente. Vale una deviazione.

We were told about this place bu friends. Difficult to find .. situated as it is in an industrial area near the fishing port. You need sat nav. A fun place, all "fished out" in decor, with an enormous amount of tables. An enormous buffet set up in a boat, with almost every type of shell fish you can imagine, in massive quantities.. and rather a lot of people to take advantage of its plentitude! It is constantly replenished. Service is speedy and cheery and the staff are well trained. It buzzes and is extremely busy so booking is essential. Love the whole atmosphere of the place and though it is crowded, somehow on this occasion it seems to add to the charm of the place. Thoroughly recommended. One point however, not sure how you would do if you didn't eat fish!

Seafood buffet, it's dared for a restaurant! There's not only bigorneaux or gray shrimp... we've been well received, waitresses are kind and nice decoration
