Delicious, craving some Saigon food now... Don't miss out on the iced coffee and dish #32.
I was never a fan of Vietnamese cuisine until I tried it in Saigon. It completely changed my perception and the flavors of the bark meat and rice dish sent me to cloud nine. I have tried Vietnamese restaurants in Saskatoon before, but none of them compare to the skill and techniques of the chefs in Saigon. I highly recommend this place, and I will definitely be returning as soon as I come back to the area. 10/10 would dine here again.
My coworker and I ate in this restaurant for dinner. there is a great selection of food. 79 options I think. we had fresh rolls so they were not bad. our main courses did not come out at the same time. there was a good one. 5 minutes delay in my associate eating after mine. my meal was average. it said it came with nice, but there were only 2 pieces small brokkoli. I expected a little more. my fellow worker had a noodle dish and could not finish his meal.
41 seats. all sitting with the lunch with the people take out. this place is busy and was recommended to me. eclectic diner style tables. on the tables are husks of seasoning and utensils. beautiful Chinese art works decorate the otherwise simple walls. the floor is old and could use some varnish. when they enter, they simply find a place to sit. the service was fast. then write their order number on a piece of paper with a black sharpness. the take-out had missing forks. on the south wall there is an unsightly ventilation. you can see in the kitchen that has some fat spots on the wall above the one. the washroom was small and clean. but the hardware was loose and old. the door knob was not designed to lock. another patron complained that he had not received his order. it came to breath later. the frosted front door didn't close immediately and sent a chill through all legs. I ordered a cloaked rice noodles and was disappointed in the part. but it could be a problem with the Nordic trips. another table had a great looking noodle dish and I was jealous. but this food is good and beautifully presented. I've never seen that cut! I have also served a green tea with one of these traditional small tassen without a handle. I got the items from the table bowl. I wasn't tired of catching a fork, but some people could. the toll had jewelry for sale. my tip was $18. I'll eat here again.
