Taberna Escalerillas - La Zubia

It’s unfortunate but we didn’t have a very good experience. The service was very slow although the waiter was lovely. The salads looked great and tasted good too. We were a group of 10 but it wasn’t busy and we had our main course an hour and a bit after the initial tapa. They came slow I.e. two/three plates at a time around 10 minutes apart. Whilst we were eating dry excrement from the birds fell into the plates from the netted roof. Granted, not something that was directly their fault but something that needs considering as we could then not eat the food and had to move. One of the waitresses (we later found out was the chef) came out to ask about some of the missing meals and we told her about the incident. Ours was the last plate to arrive Pluma Iberica which was cold, grey and looked like it had been sitting for a while. For €18 this is an expensive dish and so we told the waiter. The waitress/ chef came storming back out with the plate to say: “this was cooked by me so don’t tell me that it was cooked the day before yesterday” we told her the issue and that we were not satisfied. She changed the dish for a lovely chicken dish. She warned that it would take a while (I’m not sure why) and it came shortly after which was great. It was left on the bill but this was no bother to change. All in all not a great experience and I hope this feedback helps for future customers.

This popular bar frequented by locals is a hub for drinking . Very similar to an English bar .a Mecca for meeting place In the evenings with tapas available . 3 Klm from Granada city centre so prices are local prices and not inflated for tourists . Beer 2.50 euro for large glass

Una muy buena atención, todos los camareros muy atentos y comprensivos. la comida es muy rica, el espárrago y el rollo de salmón, huevos rotos con gulas y jamón. toda la carta. una lista de tapas variadas y saliendo del típico lomo de alioli, en resumen recomendado!

Mi lugar favorito en el jugo. tratamiento inmejorable, buenas tapas y radles riquisima!
