I find this in France, this is a thing that I fight to find out when it comes. the menu was great for the rest of the family and reasonable portion and variable amount on the men. for me there was a goat cheese salad. the waitress was to understand and sort out that I could have the salad with normal goat cheese. that was good. for a family of 5 that, as though was very reasonable, so went back.
We went to dinner for two and did just simple order of the daily menu and moule a la cream. the rest was busy. after 40' we have no meal and excuse from the service. after another 15' of nothing we went out....The service recognized our problems and put the bottle of wine we drank in the meat on the house and we didn't pay. the resto is well located on the main road along the beach, but the quality of service is terrible. the same happened with the German turist family the next table! we can not check the food, but we do not recommend to visit this place as there are many restos in the neighbourhood.
The food here is ok, simple, good value for money. Excellent fondant au chocolat and chocolate mousse. The children were made to feel very welcome, and the staff were really friendly. I liked the surf cafe atmosphere and the ocean view was stunning.
Great reception, good pizza and best value to pizza in this town We arrived at 22 PM and no problem to serve. The barmaid are very nice and the restaurant is clean and in wc too
We were attracted by the view of the ocean from our table. The coffee shop cum pizza place is situated in front of the beach i Lacanau and we had a wonderful view of the ocean (there are several small bistros and coffee shops along...the beach promenade). Some in our party saw they had Italian mussels and were curious about that so we decided to sit down for a meal. We took the special offer for a plate of varied tapas to start with and were very disappointed. The food was dry and the Italian cured ham seemed like it had stayed out in the sun. We should have reacted, but the waitress was so sweet... The mussels were a disaster. They seemed to have been cooked earlier in the day or the day before and reheated. Rubbery consistency and tasteless. The only thing that made them Italian was a nondescript tomato sauce. I have seen other visitors describe the pizzas as good and it was probably what we should have ordered. We chose the place without checking with Tripadvisor. Never again. If you just sit down for a beer or a cup of coffee you 're probably safe, but be careful what you pick from the menu.
