Esan Zap Thai Cuisine - Lacey

I have visited several Thai restaurants and enjoy the variety of styles they offer. I must say, the spices, flavors, and textures here are exceptional. I would rate it 4 stars, mainly because I find the restaurant's atmosphere a bit too cold and bright for my taste. Nonetheless, the food is fantastic!

The restaurant was clean, and the staff was nice, though not overly friendly. There was one woman serving everyone, and she was efficient, mostly keeping our waters filled. We started with the sausage appetizer, which had good flavor but was a bit dry—definitely needed a dipping sauce. I also tried the garlic dish, and I appreciated the warning about their spicing being hotter than most. I ordered a spice level of 2.5, but it felt more like a 4 compared to other places we've been. The flavors were delicious, and I nearly wanted to drink the broth from the plate! However, the rice portion that came with the dish was quite small, leaving none for the leftovers of the main dish. I would have preferred sticky rice, but it was served with jasmine rice instead. Overall, I would definitely eat here again.

This is one of the best restaurants in the environment imo. this is not generic roasted rice and frozen egg rolls. it is fresh, tasteful and amazing! they have given a lot of effort in this food. try the fried rice to the pancake

We mentioned that we have to go early and the cook made shelters to make our food ready quickly. we ordered aubergine curry and hot beer. very tasty, and aubergine was cooked and well sowed. more reasonable price and would be over if we were close.

I was in several Thai restaurants. I love all different styles. However, I must say that the flavor of taste and textures are amazing. I give him only a 4 stars because I don't like the building, it's too cold and bright. but eating is amazing.
