Subway - Lacey

The staff at this Subway are truly wonderful, and they prepare fantastic sandwiches!

The sandwich maker was outstanding. They thoughtfully placed the sauces in small containers to prevent the sandwiches from getting soggy while waiting to be enjoyed later. The sandwiches themselves were delicious!

The staff was incredibly kind and patient with my indecisiveness. They were very helpful and offered some great suggestions.

She started by putting the wrong cheese on my sandwich. When I pointed it out, she took the cheese back—even after it had touched half of the meat—and then used that same cheese on my other sandwich. When we got to the veggies, she kept impatiently asking, “What else?” even though I had already told her my choices. It felt like I was holding her up, even though the store wasn’t busy at all. I’m not even sure she added everything I wanted, despite my request to double-check. For my second sandwich, I specified all vegetables but no peppers. She paused and said, “Excuse me?” as if I had offended her. I repeated my order, and she hesitated but eventually made the sandwich. At the register, she simply set my order down and walked away without completing the transaction. I still left a tip because I really like the store, and the other employees are usually so pleasant. But honestly, the level of sass I received from her was overwhelming, especially since she was so cheerful and kind to the gentleman before me. One more thing—I noticed that she dropped his wrapped sandwich and offered to make him a new one, but didn’t seem to mind cross-contaminating my sandwiches.

This is the best subway restaurant I've been to; they really know how to make a perfect sub.
