It was extremely filling and they gave plenty of unique side dishes, though we didn't like the mayo broccoli. The kimchi is very spicy. They also gave a mini bowl of soup with noodles. The second time visiting, we got the katsu and beef cheek soup. The katsu was crispy but had too much mayo. The soup was good but lacked salt. The environment is great, with distinctive and antique decor. The miso soup appetizer was unique, with some noodles in it. I found it too heavy on MSG, but my companion enjoyed it. There were many side dishes, each one delicious, and the kimchi stood out for its freshness. Highly recommend the fired chicken. The fried chicken was freshly fried, crispy, and fragrant, with a sweet and spicy sauce that was perfectly balanced. The pork bone soup had tender yet slightly chewy pork, very flavorful with no porky smell, making it very delicious. Traditional Korean food with good customer service. Food was serving fast even though the restaurant was pretty full. The seafood pancake that we ordered was crispy on the top bottom but under-cooked in the middle. Requested the waitress to take it back to the kitchen; then it tasted great after re-cooked. Will come again to try other dishes. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
I think the stand out of this restaurant is the vibe. It feels like walking into a genuine Korean food hall. I feel the food was average due to the quality. Especially the super salty soup they give you. There’s a lot of great Korean restaurants around and nothing was too special here. The fried chicken we ordered used meat that did not taste fresh.
