The Station Restaurant & Bar - Lacombe

My husband and I have eaten here numerous times and we always have the Calamari salad.....lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, feta cheese, peppers, and LOTS of deep fried calamari piled on top......it's soooo good! It comes with a yummy toasted garlic baguette as well. Tonight I ate here with my two sisters and they both had a steak, stuffed baked potato and vegetable. They both said it was delicious. Service is always good and the staff is friendly,

I visited this restaurant a few years ago and had a great experience. However, during my recent visit, I was extremely disappointed. I ordered the lunch special steak sandwich and it was incredibly tough. I had to cut it into small pieces and still struggled to chew it. It wasn't just me, as the table next to us also had the special and were unhappy with their steaks. It's possible that it was just a bad shipment, but this experience has definitely changed my opinion of this place.

The service was good and the food was decent. I will definitely return. If you're seeking comfort food in a cozy setting, especially with children, this is a great spot to try.
