El Jimador Mexican #3 - Laconia

Jose was our bartender and he provided excellent drinks and food recommendations. The food was fresh and plentiful, you will not be disappointed. Make sure to mention that Denise sent you!

The food at this restaurant was satisfactory. However, the layout was strange with limited accessible seating. Be aware of the hidden additional fee for credit card payments. The portions were generous. Unfortunately, wheelchair accessibility is not good as there is no proper seating available. One entrance requires climbing a flight of stairs, so plan ahead before visiting.

Probably the best Mexican meal I've had since living in Tucson. Thank you!

For appetizers, I tried the chorizo dip which was served with flour tortillas, but I requested corn tortillas instead, which were promptly brought to me. The dip was loaded with chorizo and had a delicious flavor, plus the portion size was generous. For my main course, I ordered the carnitas dinner which came out on a huge plate loaded with meat, beans, rice, and salad. Since I had leftover chorizo dip, I decided to pair it with this dish and it was absolutely amazing! Overall, everything was served hot, the service was quick, and the food was simply incredible. I highly recommend this restaurant, it's a solid 10/10!

The food is pretty good, but the service feels non-existent at times. gonna chalk it up to staffing issues that plague everywhere. overall it's not too bad, though.
